I drove down to Cedarburg, WI yesterday to meet my July 10, 2010 clients Katrien & Nathan for the first time. I had a blast walking around Nathan’s grandparents’ land creating Katrien & Nathan’s engagement photos. We had AMAZING sunny weather which made for a great day!
Katrien & Natahan have a very cool background; they were in town for Thanksgiving from Berkley, CA where they’re both currently pursuing their PhD’s. In their downtime they enjoying hiking around California & something I’d never heard of before; mushroom hunting! Katrien is originally from Belgium & much of her family still resides there, so she and Nathan went to Antwerp, Belgium to choose the diamond for her ring.
To bring the Belgium thing full-circle, we’re planning to zip over to Harrington Beach State Park in Belgium, WI for some fun photos on their wedding day.
Before heading back up to Neenah, WI Nathan handed me a big bag of carrots straight from his Grandpa’s garden…very cool 
And…even cooler I was told that their wedding day will be a blend of Katrien’s Catholic upbringing & Nathan’s Buddhist upbringing. Can’t wait!!!

The pictures turned out so great! The whole family loved them. I’m so glad we went with Saturday
. The contrast of the blue sky with the grass is breathtaking. Can’t wait to see the rest of them!
